Management App for the Provider of the Fastest Internet in Poland
Client was going through company’s transformation and needed a tool for mapping the products from one provider to another.
The main task was to create an application for internal specialists to manage products that were in the previous company versus products that were the same in the new one.
My role was to lead the design stage, create views, flows, documentation for developers and the client, and communicate with the client itself - discussing features, conducting in-depth interviews to gain important insights.
What could be improved?
Planning - Since the start I could push more on the research, analysis and planning part of the project. I didn’t know that then - I was expected to prepare just visuals to discuss during the meetings from the start.
Greater involvement of PM in the project - Due to some changes in the company, our PM got promoted and didn’t have time to manage the project, which lead to many misunderstoods between us & the client.
Analysis on Client’s side - Since we weren’t responsible for the internal processes at Client’s, I expected that what was said on the meetings was Client’s final decision. Well, it wasn’t 😅
